Asociace českých a slovenských výrobců žaromateriálů

Association of Czech and Slovak Refractory Producers (AČSVŽ) unite the most significant producers of refractory materials within Czech and Slovak Republic. The association was established in 2001. The initiative came from company Refrasil s.r.o. which represented and defended the interests of Czech and Slovak refractory producers from by European Association of Refractory Producers (PRE) from 1998 till 2001.

The mission of the association is to defend and promote the interests of Czech and Slovak refractory producers at European level. AČSVŽ keep records of production and consumption of refractory materials in both countries. The association also deals with the matter of technical normalization, comments the preparation stages of the new law acts concerning the environment, and participates on the preparation and confirmation of important documents within European Union.
